President's Message

As co-presidents of the Pueblo Rockhounds, we would like to invite you to attend a Club meeting.  Our Club is a diverse group of interesting people who share a common interest in geology, minerals, gems, fossils, and rock hounding.  The Club has a variety of monthly programs designed to contribute to the understanding of earth sciences.

The Club meets the third Thursday of each month, with the exception of June, July, and August.  Meetings are held  at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 10 University Circle, Pueblo, CO at 6:30 p.m.  Visitors and new members are always welcome.

Directions to meeting site:  From I-25 and Route 50 intersection take Rt.50 West, then left on Pueblo Blvd, left on Rutgers, left on University Circle (Church will be directly in front of you), right on Yale then immediate right into parking lot behind the church.  Enter through double glass doors, up steps into meeting room.

The Club has two types of annual paid memberships.  Single memberships for one adult age 18 or over are $15.00.  Family memberships, which include a maximum of 2 adults and any dependents under the age of 18, are $20.00.

Club membership includes a monthly CHIPS newsletter and the opportunity to participate in field trips.  While the field trips are fun, we ask that all members also support the Club by their attendance at monthly meetings.  You may join at a Club meeting or by completing and mailing a membership application form.  If you have questions or would like a membership application form, please contact us at: pueblorockhounds@yahoo.com.

We look forward to seeing you at a future meeting.
